Here we are 5 years later with yet another GoFundMe for my mom, Sue. It breaks my soul to share that after being in remission for 8 years, the breast cancer she previously had back in 2013 has metastasized into bone cancer. My mother has been in severe pain for months now and the doctors were finally able to diagnose her. Cancer was the last thing we expected to hear, so this has been a hard pill to swallow. I’m creating this fundraising page in hopes to raise money to help finance a stair lift to be installed in my mom’s home. She owns a 2-story condo with only one bathroom (upstairs). She is not able to walk up and down the stairs, so to help her remain independent in her own home, a stair lift would do just that. Unfortunately, as we all know, insurance sucks and doesn’t cover this purchase and even a used one plus installation is very expensive. Literally, every little bit helps.

If you know my mom, you know as a single mother, she’s strong, resilient, a little stubborn but most of all, a fighter. Her positivity has helped keep me and our family positive. I’m devastated my mother has to go through this fight again, but I’m so grateful to be close by and do everything I can to support her.
