Surrogate for my sister

In January 2014 my sister , Rebecca, received a devistating call. Her lab work had come back abnormal and they suspected Cancer. Endometrial Cancer to be exact, and in order to make sure she would be ok they needed to do a partial hysterectomy (just the uterus). Like many little girls, all my sister ever wanted to be was a mom. She was made to be a mom! So as you can expect, this diagnosis was a huge blow. She had no biological children, but was envisioning a house full with the love of her life, Seth. She knew we couldn't wait so the surgery was performed in March of 2014. The diagnosis was confirmed as stage 2 Endometrial Cancer and therefore they would need to remove her ovaries to be safe.

Rebecca knew God's calling on her life to be a mother and made the necessary steps to have any viable eggs retrieved and frozen. To further prove that God had a hand of favor on my sister, she had qualified for a program that made the full cycle of egg retrieval FREE!!! Now it was just a matter of the right time to find a surrogate.

As a sister, this was all devastating to watch! She has been through so much and I wanted to do whatever I could to help. I have offered to be the gestational surrogate. The testing and implantation were not part of the free program. And this is why I am coming to you all for help! For all the medication, testing, fertilization, and implantation will cost $8,500. If we reach our goal, I will start immediately on testing.
