Hello!

I am Ashley's cousin, Nikia Reaux. You may know or remember me from our old Mason Vixon band days. I have organized this SURPRISE diaper fund for Ashley and Jason because I am over-the-moon excited for them and this journey. Through the years I have listened to Ashley express her deep longing to become a mom and now they are being blessed with the most perfect gift.

We all know diapers cost a fortune. I think this fund will be a fun way to wrap them all in support and love, and to provide some financial relief as they transition into parenthood.

I chose GoFundMe over other platforms despite the 2.9% fee taken out because Amazon has a cap on the amount you can raise, and you can you only spend the gifted money ON Amazon. I also could not figure out how to set up a diaper fund and keep it a surprise since it needed to be attached to an actual registry. I've done diaper funds on GoFundMe before and they were very successful and easy. I will keep the donation window open for about a month and send out a few reminders, then at the end write a personal check in the amount we've raised and send it in the mail to Ashley and Jason along with everyone's name who has contributed to this fund.
