Surprise Dean Reese: ~50 Years of Service

Every international student, and many students of color have stories of Dean Reese picking them up from the airport, welcoming their family, and helping us navigate Bates successfully.

As he sends off his first child to college, we have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and surprise him with this tribute. Help us honor Dean Reese's near 50 yrs of incredible service; he joined in 1977. Lets make it a memorable and joyful moment!

Our goal is to have 100 alumni, from the 2000+ he's impacted, anchor this gift with $1000 each, and have lots of icing of smaller amounts on the top. All amounts are welcomed but here are some cheeky recommendations:

Dean Reese Fund: $2500 (Baby boomers, I'm blessed with VC money)

The Village: $1000 (My bonus is due, I'm blessed with PE money)

The Commons: $500 (I still got student debt, or expanding my family)

Upcoming: $100 (I'm a recent grad)

Dean Reese and his family will have discretion on how they want to invest this money.
