As many of you know, Katie and I have unfortunately spent a lot of time apart over the last two years while we take care of foster children in a different state. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs along the way and hope we can be together permanently soon.

Finances have been tight during that time (that’s an understatement lol) so we didn’t have any trips to see each other this weekend for our 18th anniversary. The last time we were together was around Christmas. We had resigned ourselves to not being together this weekend because we couldn’t afford an extra trip, but I just thought I’d put this up as a blitz fundraiser to see if I could surprise her (don’t tell her about this!) so we can spend the day together. No pressure to donate, I know everyone has their own stuff going on. The goal should cover my plane tickets and Ubers for the day. Thank you to everyone who even reads this. This has been an incredibly challenging time for us but we have had wonderful support from people we care about along the way. Love y’all.
