Surf Boards for Mental Health

Did you know that over 20% of young people under 25 have a mental illness? Of those, only 1 in 4 will access any help.
The rise of mental health issues for young people also correlate with the rise in youth suicide rate. This is an issues facing all of us. Our friends. Our families. Our children.

Ocean Mind Inc. seeks to assist young people experiencing mental health issues, creating a supportive community and giving them a chance to find healing, fun and friendship.

We change lives through surfing, friendship and fun.

Ocean Mind currently relies on commercial surf schools to provide the surf boards and wetsuits for the program, which can be very expensive. Our aim is to purchase our own G-Boards and wetsuits allowing us to provide more programs and reduce the costs of each life changing experience.
