Robert Dakota “Cody” Wade Jordan, 23, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024.

Funeral Services will be 4PM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Sampit Methodist Church, 1309 Saints Delight Road, Georgetown. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The Jordan family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 2:30 to 3:30PM in the church sanctuary.

Update: As most of you have probably guessed Cody did not survive the horrible accident. His body has been found and they are trying to recover it. Jessica has not left the site. She can’t make herself leave him until she knows they get him out. Please continue to pray for Jessica and Sawyer and the rest of their family as they navigate this new reality.

Last night, 5/23 at around 8:00 there was a terrible accident at Santee Cooper. A piece of heavy equipment a young father was driving fell into a trench and was covered with coal. I don't know all of the technicalities. Please help Jessica Bishop and Sawyer, Cody Jordan's Fiance and son while they are going through this terrible time. Jessica is a stay at home mom so Cody's income was their only support. They will need expenses covered and help with life for awhile.

Rescuers were out digging until 6:00 am this morning. Santee Cooper took over from there. Please pray for this family and provide any help you can. Please share this everywhere you can.
