Ms. Sheree Simons-Hayes lost her youngest son Tre’Von Nyheim Douglas due to criminal violence on February 15, 2025 in Birmingham, AL. This tragedy has not only affected her, but also his fiancée Kayuna and unborn Tre’Von Nyheim Douglas Jr. “TJ”, that will never meet his father. Knowing he didn’t bother nobody, has made it very difficult for the three of them.
Everyone that says and appears to be a Friend is not! According to court records, Tre’von Nyheim Douglas was robbed and murdered by a “friend” for “an iPhone; and/or U.S. currency, and/or identifying information of Tre’von’s.”
Tre’Von was a great example of a young boy growing up, becoming a man, and taking care of his family. His fiancée, upon their agreement, had begun to only work part time since finding out about the arrival of their child. “Knowing he didn’t bother nobody, has made it very difficult for the three of them,’’ Hayes said. “The hurt is different.”
His tragic death to criminal violence has left a big burden on her and as well as Tre’Von’s mother. Both his fiancée and mother had to miss days of work when this tragic incident occurred. His fiancée now is about to go on bed rest due to complications, and Tre’Von Jr “TJ” is in distress since Tre’Von’s murder. Ms. Hayes is trying to be as strong as she can because she has heart issues. This is how she know Tre”von would want her to be.
His grieving family said the baby which will carry his name, Tre’von “TJ” Douglas, Jr., is due in July. That will be all they have left of Tre’Von Nyheim Douglas and they’re thankful that his memory will live on through that “TJ”.
I am asking for support for Tre' Von’s unborn child “TJ”, his fiancée, and mother as he was a true man at an early age, taking care of his household. With his fiancée having to come out for medical reasons, this tragedy has placed her in a situation where bills are due at the home where Tre'Von provided for him and her. Tre'Von's mother tries to assist his fiancée in paying bills at Tre’Vons place of residence and her own. However, this tragedy has affected her health greatly and she continues to miss days out of work. They are both still going through the process of grieving and seeking justice. The family asks for your prayers, and any financial support that you can give as they try to stay afloat during this time or grieving and seeking justice. "The Legacy of Tre'Von" shall live on through Tre'Von Jr. “TJ”.
We greatly appreciate everything that is being done and has been done to “Keep Tre'Von's Legacy ALIVE!”
