HAVEN for the Homeless

HAVEN
More than a haven for the homeless, it is hope for the brave.

We are aiming to raise £3,000 to sponsor one homeless person through a 3-month programme which will hopefully lead to supported housing and a job at the end of their cycle.

We are doing a week of fundraising from 7th – 14th December - Everything from a sponsored walk to giving out bags and soup, brought to an end with a big night of performances streamed by EURO GENC TV to raise money and awareness with  RAaW London and T C C A.
4pm – 9pm Saturday 14th December 2019 at United Reformed Church Hall, Buck St, Camden NW1 8NJ

We have a responsibility to help these people and we can, with your donations, make an impact.
But Where's The money Actually Going?
Last year we partnered up with T C C A to create bags to give to homeless people in London and, with the help of everyone that donated, we managed to impact a lot of people.  This year, Haven for the Homeless are aiming to raise at least £3,000 to cover the cost of one homeless person getting help from Buses4Homeless which will hopefully lead them into supported housing and a job at the end of their cycle. This includes all accommodation, food and support.
Inspired by our previous success, we want to take it one step further and create a bigger impact on a bigger scale. We aim to hear many more success stories like this one!

So What Are We Going To Do?

This is a lot, and we don't expect to get money without doing anything ourselves to earn it so we have arranged some fundraisers. We are doing a week of fundraising from the 7th December – 14th December 2019.
On 7th December 2019 our very own Robbi, Abbie, and Glynis will be completing a 7K walk from Camden Town towards Holborn and then to Oxford Circus and back.
On Saturday 14th December, there will be a big event full of song, dance and spoken word. Throughout the night, there will also be people handing out bags and soup to homeless people in the surrounding area.
How Can You Support Us?
We’re facing a national crisis.
There are over 3100 people sleeping rough in London every night.
More than 440 people died on the streets in the UK last year.
A homeless rough sleeper is 9 times more likely to commit suicide than the average person.
Unfortunately, we live in a world where everything comes down to money.  Some people have a lot; others have none. We aim to help those that have none.

So please donate whatever you can... no amount is too big or small! Your generous donation will help us to impact many lives.

There are so many other ways for everyone to help too:
>Spread Awareness on Social Media
>Help us by handing out bags or soup
>Donate some supplies to put in the bags
>You can do a small performance
>Simply turn up and have a good time

More than a haven for the homeless, it is hope for the brave.
