They endure long deployments, time away from loved ones, and the physical and emotional demands of protecting others. Like many veterans, they don't seek praise — only the chance to build a peaceful life after serving their country.

Chronic injuries surface. Pain makes everyday activities difficult. Sleep becomes rare. Medical appointments multiply, prescriptions become necessary, and the cost of care quickly grows overwhelming.
