Hi everyone, we're Welly and Damon, and we're reaching out during a profoundly challenging time. Our lives took an unexpected turn a little over a month ago, on May 8th, when Damon's mother left home due to ongoing struggles with mental health and addiction. This has created a significant void and a new set of responsibilities, especially concerning the constant care our son, Damon, who is just 1 year and 9 months old, now requires.

As a Club DJ with a residency here in Torremolinos, I (Welly) have had to step away from my work to become Damon's primary caregiver. While prioritising our son is paramount, this decision has placed a tremendous financial strain on our family.

We've been incredibly touched by the support we've received so far. After sharing our story in some local Costa del Sol Facebook groups, an amazing individual offered me some remote work. This collaboration has been a positive experience, and I'm committed to continuing to find online work to cover Damon's daily well-being and basic needs.

However, we're now facing additional critical expenses that are beyond my immediate reach, and this is where your support becomes truly vital. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will be specifically dedicated to two crucial areas:

Legal Processes within the Spanish Court: Navigating the legal system here in Spain to secure Damon's long-term stability and my full parental rights is a complex and costly endeavour. These funds will cover lawyer fees, court costs, and essential administrative expenses.

Damon's Early Education (Ages 2-3): We want to ensure Damon has access to quality early education, which is crucial for his development and well-being. Contributions will help cover the costs of his enrolment and participation in a local nursery and educational program during his pivotal 2nd and 3rd years.

I'm a computer scientist with a solid background in web and app development, digital marketing, and social media management. I'm actively seeking any remote work opportunities that would allow me to generate a stable income and continue providing for Damon's everyday necessities.

We're also incredibly grateful for any donations of essential items that would help make Damon's life more comfortable, easing some of our everyday expenses. This includes:
