Many of you will have heard the heartbreaking news that our dear friend Val Benfield recently lost her husband, Paul, in a sudden and devastating tragedy. This has left Val facing the unimaginable reality of navigating life as the sole provider and parent to her three teenagers during an incredibly painful season.

Val is a woman of deep faith, strength, and love, and many of us have experienced her strong faith, generosity, and encouragement over the years. Now, in this moment of profound grief, we have the opportunity to surround her and her children with the same love and support that she has so freely given to others.

In the midst of this tragic loss, there are immediate practical needs: funeral expenses, everyday living costs, and the financial pressures that come with suddenly losing a partner. Our goal is to raise £12,000 to help ease this burden and provide Val and the children with some breathing room over the coming months.
