On October 28th, Marissa, her husband, David, and their two small children lost their home in a fire. Luckily no one was home, but the house is a complete loss, and, sadly, they also lost their dog, cat, and bunny, members of the family who were deeply loved.

For 17 years, Marissa has also been the person who shows up for people in the hardest moments of their lives. She has worked with people experiencing homelessness, helping them find stability, safety, and hope. She has changed more lives than anyone will ever count, ours included.

Now she and her family need the community to show up for them.
