My heart is incredibly heavy as I write this but we are coming together to support an incredible woman, Tiffany, my aunt Tete, during an unimaginably difficult time. Tiffany recently suffered a sudden unexpected cardiac arrest, a life-altering medical emergency that has placed an overwhelming emotional and financial burden on her family.
Tiffany wasn’t feeling well on Thursday, so she laid down with her youngest child, Ava 1 years old, to try to feel better. After 10-15 minutes her mother, Nancy, heard the baby screaming, she found her purple, pulseless and stiff on top of her baby. Nancy threw her on the floor and began life-saving CPR and called 911. She tried the absolute best she could to save her life. Although the EMTs got her heart beating again after 30 minutes, she suffered severe and unsurvivable brain damage. Thank you to my friends and fellow coworkers in the ICU who have taken beautiful care of her. I am eternally grateful, more than words could ever describe. Unfortunately today, we are letting her go to heaven with her brother, my dad Joe, who passed away December 21st, 7 years ago.
Tiffany is a devoted and loving mother to three beautiful children who are her entire world. She is smart, kind, loving, and truly beautiful inside and out. Anyone who knows Tiffany knows her strength, compassion, and her ability to light up a room, even when she herself was hurting. She has always put everyone before herself, especially her kids. She’s not only an incredible mother, but an amazing daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was truly one of a kind, always trying to light up the room and joke despite her own emotional pain.
Her kids are beyond beautiful, smart and kind. Her oldest Izabella is 13 years old, her middle child Loghan 7 years old and her youngest child Ava 1 year old. They are the most amazing children and my heart breaks for them to have to live their lives without their mom, their rock. They deserved so much more than this, they deserved to have their mom with them throughout their lives to watch them grow, learn and succeed.
Adding to this heartbreak, Tiffany carries the lasting pain of losing her brother, my dad, on December 21, 7 years ago. That loss forever changed her life and her children’s lives.
Her mother and father, Nancy and Chris, have suffered another traumatic loss that no parent should ever have to go through. The loss of their second child in the same month of December. My heart aches for them and all they have done for her and our family.
As I write this with a very heavy heart and tears in my eyes, please consider donating if you are able. Her children and parents need any and all help and support they can receive. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. If you cannot donate, share this page and keep Tiffany and her children in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time. I appreciate your time, consideration and empathy.
