Many of you will know (and love) the Lewandowski's, from all their roles in village life, vet nurse, to childminder to St Lawrence fair committee to a pint in the pub. I’m sure they’ve touched many lives in many ways.

They have always gone above and beyond for every family they look after through childminding — offering kindness, warmth, and a home-from-home environment that has meant the world to so many of us.

Right now, they and their family are going through an incredibly difficult time. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Carole is currently unable to work while caring for Jerzy full-time. It’s been an overwhelming time for the family, and they’re doing their best to manage everything while focusing on being there for each other.

A few of us wanted to come together to do something to help ease the pressure a little. We know how much she has given to others, and we’d love to be able to give something back to her and her family during this tough period.

All funds raised will go directly to the family to help with day-to-day living costs and bills while Carole takes this time away from work to be with her husband.

If you are in a position to contribute, no matter how small, it would make such a difference. And if you’re not able to donate right now, sharing a kind message of support would mean just as much.

Let’s show this amazing family how loved and appreciated they are by the community they’ve supported for so long.
