On August 31st, 2021 God allowed a perfect and precious miracle to enter the world in the form of Magnolia (Maggie) Kate Schrodt. Sarah and Zach are parents, and their family is complete! We are so thankful for this miracle of life, especially since Maggie Kate was born at twenty-seven weeks. Due to Maggie’s early arrival, Sarah and Zach will be tirelessly driving to and from the hospital, potentially even needing to seek lodging closer to the hospital and Maggie Kate. At this time, NICU doctors estimate that Maggie will need to stay in the hospital until her due date (the end of November). This means that Sarah and Zach will need food, gas, and lodging for approximately three months. This account is meant to assist them with those purchases. Most accommodations in the Chapel Hill area are $80-$100 per night, so the majority of this fundraiser will allow them to stay close to Maggie Kate, as opposed to driving the almost hour commute from their home.
