UPDATE:
On behalf of Mia and the kids, as well as Linda and Carly - THANK YOU ❤️.
Life has moved on around the family, as it does - but their sorrow is still so raw, so real and will be apart of who they are forever. Your contributions, no matter how big, small, shape or form, have enabled the family to reflect, remember and sit in this moment for a little while longer.
On behalf of the friends and family group of the Monro's, we are all so proud of how everyone has rallied together for the family - both within this GFM and through other fundraising efforts; you're all champions and our gratitude for you has explored depths that has moved us to tears daily.
Our support doesn't end here. Let's keep the kids connected to their creative arts and sports. Let's keep Mia laughing over the hilarious memories we have of Neil. Let's show up for birthdays, fathers day, christmas, for the soccer games, the gymnastics performances, the car services when a dodgy mechanic over charges. We will be there. Finally and more importantly, we commit to never forgetting the amazing Neil; his beautiful little babies and wife will one day want to hear all your stories and learn more about who Neil was to you. Keep his legacy ever present in the memories you have and in how he made us all better versions of who we are.
Sending you ALL so much love and sharing all the love you've sent the family, to them.
Thank you x.

For many of you, you know exactly what you were doing and where you were standing when you heard about the sudden passing of our adored and favourite, Neil. It has rocked our community of friends and has truly devastated his family, including his wife, Mia and their three young children.
The process of navigating grief is not only painful and shattering, but it is one that takes time. Whilst we cannot take away their pain or process the most intimate grief for them, we can collectively help to alleviate some financial pressure and ultimately give the gift of time to Mia and the kids as they work to heal as a family. If you are in a position to help with even the smallest donation via this platform, or prefer to set up a regular contribution directly to the family so the bills can continue to be paid during this incredibly tough time, our support will ensure the best possible opportunity for their healing.
It is incredibly heartbreaking to be living in a world without the light, love and laughter of Neil, and I know I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that we will forever provide as much support as possible to his family, and will ensure the memory and legacy of who he was will always be protected.
With the endorsement of the Monro family, all funds donated via this platform will be sent directly to Neil’s mum who will begin the process of assisting the family in all financial aspects of their affairs. If you are not in a position to support financially, we have set up a Meal Train for anyone wishing to make and deliver the family food over the coming months. If you would like to partake in the Meal Train, have any questions or special requests including personal account details for a direct contribution, please contact me (Liz Zaphir) via the messaging platform on this page.
Please note; I will not provide any personal details without confirming legitimacy in an effort to protect their family.
Thank you and with love,
X
