In this season of giving the Mogannam Family needs our love and support and we hope that you will give in any way you can.
Raph Mogannam is a St. Cecilia alumnus along with the rest of his siblings. He has lived in the West Portal neighborhood most of his life. He and is wife Rana have three children (Catherine (Grade 3), Stevie (TK) & Stella Cecilia (2.5 years). They are active parents and parishioners in their St. Cecilia community. In 2017 their youngest child, Stella, was diagnosed with an extremely rare, terminal illness. After spending months in the hospital a highly specialized team of doctors from Kaiser and UCSF came to the conclusion that Stella (aka Warrior Princess) wouldn’t survive. Since then she’s been hospitalized frequently and receives hospice care. Stella is a fighter but her battle is a painful and tough one. This disease in particular causes a great amount of physical pain. When she’s not in the hospital she’s at home being cared for by Rana and Raph and the hospice crew that supports her. There are many expenses when caring for an ill child and this case is no different. The financial burden on top of everything else is overwhelming.
