I am a Lupus Warrior. For 11 years, I have been fighting a "Cruel Mystery" that most people can’t see. With every flare-up, the battle gets harder, and the suffering runs deeper. But my fight isn't just for me—it’s for my granddaughters. Lupus can be genetic, often skipping a generation. The thought of my granddaughters suffering the way I do—slowly "dying from the inside out" while being told "you don't look sick"—is what keeps me fighting. We still don't know the cause, and we don't have a cure.
