Hi, my name is Jasmine Morales. My mom, Janny Morales, passed away this past year on December 25, 2025. This Thursday, September 24, would have been her 49th birthday, and it will be the first birthday we celebrate without her here with us.

My mommy meant more to me than I could ever put into words. She was one of the strongest, bravest, and most loving people I have ever known, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had her as my mom. I miss her every single day, and I will always carry her love, strength, and memory with me.

For her birthday this year, instead of giving her a gift, I would like to honor her by raising money for the Lupus Foundation. My mom battled lupus for many years, yet even through everything she faced, she continued to show so much strength, courage, and resilience.

Every donation, no matter the amount, means so much. All donations will go toward supporting the Lupus Foundation and its work to advance research, help those living with lupus, and continue the search for better treatments and, one day, a cure.
