Our hearts are broken at the loss of 13-year-old Emily Jokinen, who passed away after being recently diagnosed with leukemia. Emily was a bright, kind, and much-loved young girl whose gentle nature touched everyone who knew her.

This fundraiser has been created to support Emily’s parents, Josh and Rachael, and her brother Matt, so they can grieve without the added worry of financial stress. Our hope is to give them the time and space they need to navigate this heartbreaking loss and honour Emily’s memory.

At this time, the family has requested privacy as they come to terms with their loss. We kindly ask that the community allows them the space to grieve together and refrains from contacting them directly.
