Alegría was born from a simple intention:

to create a space where people could start the new year with connection, beauty, and meaning.

This festival came from one pocket — and from a shared dream.

They didn’t quite reach the ticket numbers needed to break even — the gap today is around $25,000.

This page isn’t here to cover that.

It’s not about urgency or fixing a problem.

That’s why we set the goal low, at 5,000. euros

Because this fundraiser is really about appreciation.

Appreciation for the team behind the scenes.

For the artists, the crew, the volunteers.

For a moment, many of us felt was special.

If Alegría touched you, even a little, this is simply a way to say:

“I see the work you did, and I’m grateful for it.”

Whether it’s 50,000 rupiah or 500 dollars, every contribution is just that :

a gesture of thanks. No pressure. No obligation.
