With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, the Nepalese Community of London, Ontario, has come together to support the family of the late Mr Gagan Bahadur Gurung, who passed away on December 21, 2025, after a short but severe illness.

Mr Gurung, his wife Mrs Namrata Bhatta Gurung, and their 12-year-old daughter arrived in Canada from Nepal on April 18, 2025, with hopes of building a safe and stable future. Tragically, their journey was cut short by an unexpected medical crisis, leaving the family to navigate life without their loved one.

After battling serious illness, Mr. Gurung passed away on December 21, 2025. The family is now facing an incredibly challenging period of emotional loss and financial uncertainty as they adjust to this sudden change in their lives.

Mrs Gurung is now moving forward as a single parent, caring for her young daughter while coping with grief and the realities of starting over in a new country. During this transition, she faces immediate financial pressure related to daily living needs, household responsibilities, and providing stability for her child.

This fundraiser is intended to support the family during this critical phase, helping them regain stability, focus on healing, and take the necessary steps to move forward with dignity and hope.
