Supporting The Daily Wage Earners In India

Donation protected

Hello all, we are reaching out to you with an appeal for your compassion and support please. UNITED SIKHS M'sia & SG are urgently raising funds to support the daily wage earners in India who are now in a humanitarian crisis.

The daily wage earners are the hardest hit by the nation’s recent 21-day lockdown. With no work or place to live, millions are now walking hundreds of kilometers to return to their native villages. The risk of coronavirus infection is very high, and that is not the only threat they have to deal with. With no money or means to earn and provide for themselves and their families, hunger and other dangers could possibly kill them before the coronavirus disease. The lockdown has left them totally exposed and vulnerable, with nothing to fall back on.

We are appealing for two things - first, any contribution you can make would be very helpful. Also please forward this message to all your friends and contacts to help us spread awareness of this urgent and very sad situation. Post on your social media pages if possible, and share with your friends and connections.

Funds will be used for providing food, sanitizers and public education on hygiene practices to avoid spread and getting infected by Covid19.

UNITED SIKHS is an NGO who work at grassroots level to provide support to those in need of humanitarian support. Support is offered regardless of race, language, religion or geography as all humans need the opportunity to live with dignity. Do remember to share and forward. Thank you very much.

The hope of humanity depends on your support and donations to the society. We request you to come together and contribute towards the upliftment of mankind and a better tomorrow.
