Supporting The Bility Family.

Fanta Bility was my little cousin who was just 8 years old when she was shot and killed by Sharon Hill police officers after leaving a football game with her mom and siblings on August 27, 2021. Fanta went to the football game that evening to watch and support her older sister who was a cheerleader.

This has been an extremely difficult loss to process for our family. My other cousins and Aunt are still dealing with the emotions of the loss and post traumatic stress of witnessing the fatal killing. Fanta actually passed away in her mother's arms.

Our family believes the entire incident which occured that evening was preventable. Although we are still grappling with this significant loss, my family is so grateful and comforted by the overwhelming support they have received in the wake of my cousin's tragic death.

However, their fight for #justiceforFanta has just begun. Fanta's mom (my aunt), Tennah Kromah is one of the strongest women I know and she would never directly ask for help but I know she needs it because she has been unable to return to work full-time, yet still has 5 other children to care for - including her 12 year old daughter, Mamasu who was also shot that same night by police, but thankfully she survived.
