Supporting Tamar and Micah

Hi, my name is Jenny and I'm fundraising for my dear friends Tamar and Micah.

On September 21st, Tamar went into pre-term labor and she and Micah lost their precious and hard fought for baby, Frankie Mira, at 23 weeks on September 22nd. They are devastated and it will no doubt be a long road ahead and need all of our love and support to get them through.

Over the past three weeks, the community support has been incredible. Mobilizing to get the house ready for Tamar's family and Tamar and Micah's return from Halifax, a mealtrain that was booked for a full month within days, showing up for Frankie Mira's welcome and goodbye at the funeral, and ongoing visits, texts, and emotional support in various forms...all of it has been so greatly appreciated by Tamar and Micah.

Now, we'd like to mobilize to support Micah and Tamar through the next stage with financial support to access therapy and to get away, particularly around painful dates such as Frankie's due date in January, 2025. The goal that's been set is arbitrary, and you are encouraged to give whatever feels comfortable and right to you. Whether we fall short of the goal, reach it, or surpass it, this campaign is a way for us to all show Tamar and Micah that we are in it with them for the long haul of their grief and journey toward healing.
