As many of you know, our family has been walking through a very difficult season. My brother has been bravely fighting stage 4 colon cancer, and we recently received the heartbreaking news that his cancer is now terminal and they are recommending hospice.

Our mom has been doing everything she can to be by his side and care for him, but in order to do that, she has had to miss work. Her PTO has run out, which means the time she needs to take is now unpaid. This has placed a huge financial burden on her at a time when her focus should be on family, not on bills.

We are creating this fundraiser to help relieve some of that stress. Any donations will go directly toward covering her lost income and basic needs like groceries, utilities, and transportation so she can continue to care for my brother without worrying about how to make ends meet.
