A huge thank you to everyone who donated to Sully’s GoFundMe, family, friends, and even those we’ve never met. We really appreciate the support, it means a lot and is making a real difference. A special thank you to my Uncle Greg, this means a lot and we are forever grateful
Hi, my name is Carly and I’m Sully’s mum.
Sully is 11 years old and lives with cerebral palsy. He is a full-time wheelchair user and has a severe intellectual disability, meaning he requires a high level of daily support. Despite the challenges he faces, Sully is a happy, loud, smiley kid who brings so much joy to everyone around him. He is deeply loved and lights up our lives.
As Sully grows, our home needs to change with him. At the moment, our house isn’t set up to meet his needs safely or with the dignity he deserves. Everyday tasks like showering, transferring, and sleeping are becoming increasingly difficult and unsafe.
We are currently trying to modify our bathroom and Sully’s bedroom to make them accessible for Sully. This includes installing a safe, accessible shower space with a shower chair, and a custom bed designed specifically for his needs. These changes are about safety, comfort, and dignity.
We’ve created this page because the cost of essential accessibility modifications is overwhelming, and sometimes we need to accept help. Any support means more than we can say.
Thank you for taking the time to read Sully’s story and for being part of our journey.
