Hi everyone, ​

I’m writing this because my family is currently facing a mountain we never expected to climb. My beautiful wife, Sophie, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. ​She is the absolute center of our world. She is an incredible mum to our three young children (ages 9, 7 & 2) and seeing her face this battle is the hardest thing I have ever had to witness. While we are doing everything we can to stay positive and focus on her treatment, the reality of the situation is starting to take its toll on our daily lives. Beyond the practical needs of the house and the car, my greatest wish is for us to focus on making precious memories as a family. Sophie’s heart is entirely with our three children (ages 9, 7 & 2) and despite the challenges of her diagnosis, she wants to fill their lives with as much joy and normalcy as possible. A portion of these funds will allow us to plan small, meaningful days out and family experiences—moments where the kids can just be kids and Sophie can focus on being their mum, away from the shadow of hospital walls and treatment schedules. These memories will be the light that guides us through the difficult days ahead. ​As her husband, my main priority is making sure Sophie is comfortable and that our children feel safe and supported. However, the financial pressure of managing a Stage 4 diagnosis alongside the needs of three little ones is significant. ​I want to make sure our home is a sanctuary for her and that I can get her to every single appointment without worry.

We are raising funds to help cover: ​

Essential Home Improvements: We need to make updates to our home to ensure it’s a comfortable and accessible environment for Sophie as she goes through treatment. ​

Reliable Transportation: Our current car needs urgent maintenance to keep it safe for the road. At some point, we are also hoping to move toward a more reliable, updated vehicle. Between hospital visits and the kids' schedules, we cannot afford to be stranded. ​

Future Equipment & Care: As Sophie's needs change, we want to be prepared for any extra support she may require to maintain her quality of life at home.

Asking for help isn’t easy, but I want to give my wife and my children the best possible support system during this time.
