On Sunday, my sister Sarah’s world changed forever. After a tragic accident, her boyfriend, Joe, was airlifted to the hospital and placed on a ventilator. The accident had caused extensive brain damage, and after days of hoping and praying for a miracle, he sadly has passed away.

Joe and Sarah have been expecting their first baby due in October. They were so excited to become parents and begin this next chapter together. What should be a time filled with joy and preparation has instead become unimaginable heartbreak.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease some of the financial burden during this devastating time. Donations will go toward household bills, baby preparations, any unexpected expenses that come with a tragedy like this, as well as giving Sarah the time and support she needs to grieve and care for herself and their unborn child.
