On behalf of the Cera team, we are reaching out with heavy hearts to support one of our own, Sara M, following a devastating accident on 3 April 2026.

Sara, a dedicated and hardworking carer, has always shown compassion and commitment in supporting others through their most difficult times. Tragically, she and her family were recently involved in a serious road traffic collision in Birmingham. In this heartbreaking incident, a nine-year-old girl lost her life, and Sara, along with two other children in the same vehicle, sustained injuries and required hospital treatment.

This tragic event has had a profound impact on Sara and her family, both emotionally and physically. Due to her injuries and the trauma of the incident, Sara is currently unable to work and is expected to be off for several months. As the sole earner in her household, this sudden loss of income places significant financial strain on her and her loved ones during an already incredibly difficult time.

As a team, we feel a deep responsibility to support Sara—just as she has supported so many others through her role as a carer. She is not only a valued colleague but also a kind and selfless individual who has dedicated her career to helping those in need.

We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden on Sara and her family while she focuses on recovery. Donations will go towards essential living expenses such as rent, bills, food, and any additional costs related to her recovery and well-being.
