Thank you for clicking on this "Hunny-Pot" Fund, and taking the time to read about Sandy. My name is Christian, a close friend to the family of Sandy, who recently passed away on September 21st, 2025.
An electrical fire broke out in Sandy's apartment, taking the lives of her two cats while burning over 35% of her body in second & third degree burns. Miraculously, no one else in the apartment building was hurt, and Sandy fought for her life, for two weeks after being rescued by first responders. Tragically, she didn't survive the serious injuries, and was taken off her ventilator on Sunday. As an organ donor, she saved five more lives. She was a hero.
I write to you, to gain momentum on her story, and allow her life to continue impacting others. How she will always impact her friends and family matters profoundly more than the tragic way she was taken from them. But this event has stirred something in me, to try and get them the most help I can.
Money donated would be used to assist Sandy's family with costs that add up through tragedies of this nature. Funeral, travel, potential fees from hospital or funeral home, and more. Nothing can replace what they have lost, which is the bright, happy soul of Sandy. All of her posessions, her beloved animals, photos and more lost in the fire. She loved Winnie-the-Pooh, and classic Disney music. Sandy loved her nieces, Briana, Rachael, Sarah and Michelle more than anything, as well as her family. Without ever getting to meet Sandy, I loved her.
I hope this honey-pot can assist in anything that can provide relief after this tragedy. My goal is $10,000 and if you've made it to this point in reading, I am truly grateful. Even if you cannot donate, thank you for reading, and please share! <3 Your family loves and misses you Sandy, and as Winnie-the-Pooh would say,
“If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever.”
