After asked by members in the birth community to create a GoFundMe, here we gratefully are. My name is Sage & Juan is my lovely husband. I am currently 37ish weeks pregnant with our breech baby girl, our first child. Unfortunately, vaginal breech birth in California with our current midwife is not an option due to legal limitations. Our dreams of a home birth are starting to slip away. She could flip head down, but it is unlikely at this point in pregnancy. In order to have a vaginal birth with a midwife in attendance, we plan to temporarily relocate to Nevada. Your support would go towards our travel, unknown length of an Airbnb stay, and the out of pocket cost for our new midwife and her team. It feels odd to ask for donations.
