Ricky is one of those people who shows up. For more than 30 years, he has been the friend celebrating everyone else—weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, BBQs, camping trips, hunting and fishing weekends, and all the small moments in between. If there was a toast to be made or a milestone to honor, Ricky was there with a smile, humor, and an open heart.

This week, Ricky's family's life was turned upside down when Ricky was unexpectedly taken into ICE custody. He went peacefully and responsibly, but the impact on his wife, son, and loved ones has been devastating.

Ricky has spent decades living quietly and honorably—working hard, paying taxes, building a family, and being the dependable, generous friend so many of us know. Now, his wife is suddenly facing legal expenses and uncertainty that no family should have to navigate alone.

We are raising funds to help with:

* Immigration attorney and court filing costs

* Immediate living expenses for his wife during this period

* Travel and resettlement costs if the legal process does not allow him to remain in the U.S.
