Helen M. Marshall School is a proud public Elementary school in Corona Queens. Our families, like too many of our NYC neighbor's, are experiencing tremendous loss during this Pandemic. 
As many of you know, the neighborhoods of Corona and East Elmhurst are being disproportionately impacted by the Pandemic.  Our school is a food pick up site for the community and the food supply has dwindled in recent weeks.
While we continue to work with families to help our students engage in remote learning, it is increasingly clear that what our families need more than anything right now is food.

Now is the time to prioritize and help our families in the way they need it most--$ for groceries.

All donations will used to purchase food at a bulk food store so that more of our Corona families can eat during these challenging times. We are asking for 10,000 and not more, because we are hopeful that our food shipments will increase in the coming months. This money will go a long way to ensure that our families can continue to focus on education for the remainder of the school year.
