Supporting Projects in Ghana: Help Me Make a Difference
Donation protected
Hello - my name is Aoife Stewart, I am a Year 13 pupil at St Louis’ Grammar School, Ballymena.
In June 2025, I will be travelling with 13 other pupils to Oku, Ghana, to work alongside the St Louis Sisters in support of their incredible projects.
This is a unique opportunity and one I am very privileged to be part of.
During our time there, we will be involved in various projects, including:
• Teaching, and organising activities for the local children to help enrich their learning.
• Working on outdoor projects to enhance both the primary school and health clinic environments.
• Participating in workshops focused on learning from the community and sharing our knowledge and experiences.
• Helping to fund a small building project to meet specific needs within the Oku village.
• Working with local clinicians to help deliver health care support to remote villages.
All my transport and accommodation costs are self-funded meaning that all funds raised will go directly to these projects, ensuring that every penny goes to the people in Oku.
Your support will make a real difference to the community, and I would be so grateful for any contribution you can offer.
Thank you for helping me to support the vital work of the St Louis Sisters in Ghana!
Many thanks
Aoife
