Introduction:

Hi, my name is Jeff K. I’m reaching out with humility and hope as this past year has brought overwhelming challenges to our family. Between health struggles, loss of our only vehicle, financial pressures, and unexpected changes at work, we’ve found ourselves in need of a little help. Our Story:

This year has been incredibly tough. My wife is bravely battling two forms of cancer, following a Lupus diagnosis a few years back. Her illness requires immense emotional strength and time, and it has put significant financial strain on us.

As I watch my wife’s illness unfold, it’s heartbreaking to see the toll it takes on her and our children. There are moments when I look into their eyes and see the pain, fear, and uncertainty that comes with not knowing how much time we have left together. Cancer has a way of stealing the future, forcing us to live in this difficult limbo where nothing is promised.

At the same time, this cruel uncertainty makes me cherish every moment we do have even more. It makes me want to hold onto the small things—the laughter, the love, the time we spend as a family. I want to maximize these moments, to be fully present with my wife and daughters, while we still can. Your support will help us focus on what truly matters—making the most of our time together.

Adding to the strain, my job now requires a long commute, increasing fuel and vehicle expenses and limiting the time I spend with my family. Recently, our car broke down, adding yet another financial challenge. Despite all this, we’re doing our best to keep life as normal as possible for our daughters, including our oldest, who is saving for her first car.

Why We're Asking for Help:

We’re hoping for financial assistance to help us through these difficulties. Here’s what we hope to achieve with your generosity:

1. A little joy for my wife: $2,000 to create small moments of happiness—whether through a simple getaway or thoughtful gifts to brighten her day.

2. A car fund for our daughter: $6,000 to help our oldest daughter buy her first car, a goal she’s been working hard toward.

3. Help with ongoing medical care, a new car for work & related lodging expenses: $17,000 to cover medical fund depletion, commute expenses, and a reliable vehicle so I can keep working.
