Recently, our family experienced a tragedy we never expected. My dad and sister were involved in a serious head-on collision caused by an intoxicated driver. Miraculously, my sister sustained only minor injuries. But my dad suffered severe trauma and is now facing an incredibly difficult recovery.

He underwent emergency spinal surgery after sustaining multiple broken vertebrae and nerve damage that left his upper body paralyzed. While he made it through the surgery, he now faces a long and uncertain road to healing—one that will require extensive therapy, medical care, and unwavering strength.

We are deeply thankful that both my dad and sister survived. Every day is now focused on helping him regain movement, bit by bit. He’s fighting, and we are fighting with him.
