Supporting our dads recovery

Hi everyone, my name is Tiarne and my dad is Luke Gilchrist. Last night dad was involved in a serious head on collision which has led him to rupture his abdomen, snap his collarbone, badly snapped his knee cap, broken patella, internal bruising to his lungs, abdomen and pelvis.

My sisters and I want to do this for him. Dad is the kind of guy that is too proud to ask people for help and I know he wouldn’t want me to be doing this, but I am. Because he is such a hard worker, a good dad and an all round great bloke.

Our dad is going to have to recover for some time which will put him in financial stress. He has just started a new job as well which we know would be stressful for him knowing he can’t get to work as well as his car being damaged.

we love our dad so much and seeing him in the pain he is in after the accident is heartbreaking.
