Our Plan for Impact
Supporting Orang Asli’s Rising (SOAR) is a youth-led initiative dedicated to reducing the educational gap and achieving long-term change in the Orang Asli community.
In collaboration with Yayasan Ikhlas Ipoh and advised by ISMA UK, our efforts focus on these objectives:
1) Expanding Educational Opportunities
- Two-on-one mentoring sessions with the students
- Give exposure talk about career pathways and scholarship opportunities
- Provide essential educational materials
2) Essential Aid & Wellbeing
- Distribute food supply
- Provide basic necessities for students and families
- Repair and improve living conditions
3) Awareness & Long-Term Change
- Raise awareness among Malaysian students abroad
- Advocate for sustained, inclusive educational support
- Build lasting cultural relationships
