Supporting one who's always supported others

So often, we see that those who are the first to freely give to others are the last to ask for help when they need it. Just as she selflessly left her family during the COVID pandemic to offer aid as a nurse in New York and Texas on multiple occasions, that could not be truer of my dear friend, Ivey Benson. My name is Laurie Bloodworth, and it is my goal to seek support for Ivey and her three children during an extremely challenging time in their lives. Due to a terrible series of events that were entirely out of her control, Ivey now finds herself as the sole supporter of her family. With a son in college, a daughter in high school, and a daughter in middle school, she works more than full-time as a nurse to meet their needs. Ivey would never dream of reaching out for support, but I convinced her that even those that are always the ones giving to others need help at times.
