My sister has always been the kind of person who shows up for everyone. If someone needs help, she’s there — no questions asked, no hesitation. She gives so much of herself to others, and asking for help has never come easily to her.

Since August, she’s been dealing with ongoing health issues that have made it difficult for her to work as much as she normally does. As the main earner in her household, the loss of income has added an overwhelming amount of stress at a time when she should be able to focus on her health and recovery.

To make things harder, our provincial healthcare system involves long wait times just to be seen and to receive the proper tests and answers. The uncertainty, combined with financial pressure, has been incredibly difficult for her and her family.

We’re starting this fundraiser to help relieve some of that burden — to help cover basic living expenses and ease the stress while she navigates appointments, tests, and healing. Any support, whether through a donation or sharing this page, would mean more than we can put into words.

My sister is one of the kindest, most giving people I know. She would never ask for this herself, but she truly deserves the same care and compassion she so freely gives to others.
