Over the last few months, my beautiful sister has been in and out of hospital having tests which has sadly resulted in her being diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin Lymphoma (a type of blood cancer)

At the age of 27, this has been a massive shock to her and all her closest friends and family. Anyone who knows Millie, knows what a beautiful soul she has and how selfless she is.

This is going to take a huge toll on Millie’s life over the next few months, and as a few may know, she is now unable to work and is due to start Chemo this week. Not only that, her partner has taken time off work to be there for her and will continue to do so. Unfortunately, when you work for yourself, you don’t have the luxury of sick pay and I want to take that stress away, even if it’s just slightly.

With that being said, I have decided to do a sponsored run for her. With Millie’s long road ahead I would really like to give back to my sister. Not only to ease financial stress, giving her one less thing to worry about, but to give her back the love and support she so easily gives to others

I will be running on November 26th which will mark 2 cycles of Millie’s chemo, which will hopefully be the half way point. I will then be running again once we know her end date to mark the finishing of her treatment and hopefully a long road of remission and a long life of memories
