Hi there— we are the Sheridan’s and we are reaching out during a difficult season for our family.

Those that know us know we have 2 girls and one more arriving in the next month! We also are a military family and have only recently relocated to Alberta in the last year; putting us quite far away from our village of hands-on support.

Our newest arrival is due at the end of May and unfortunately, duty calls, and my husband will be away for 12 weeks immediately following the birth of our daughter. I will be navigating postpartum, with our energetic 1 year old, on my own for at least the first month.

Those that know us also know that we have been in an uphill battle regarding the immigration process for myself. Despite having a legal team, this has delayed my access to healthcare and general ability to keep our family together for long periods of time. We are ready to make progress and get us what we need to deliver this baby here, in Canada, and keep us all together in the time following but we need help.

We are humbly asking for support to help us through this challenging chapter.

Funds raised will go toward:

* Immigration lawyer fees and application costs to keep our family together

* Postpartum recovery support (meal/grocery delivery services etc.)

* Essentials for our newborn and our 1-year-old

* Additional help during recovery so I can safely care for both children (babysitters, dog walkers etc.)
