Hi my name is Andrew "AJ' Johnson, Freeski and Snowboard coordinator for the Lake Superior Division of the USCSA Midwest. I have created this GOFUNDME for Mike and Robin Dzubay, let me preface this by saying they are both doing fine and are in good health. The 2025 season has been marked by many challenges this season and has been very frustrating at times to get the race to go off with out a hitch. You may not know this but all the support staff working each weekend are volunteers including Mike and Robin. In my 15 years of volunteering this is the most stressed and frustrated I have seen them both. We all do this for the love of the sport and work our hardest to continue the tradition of high level ski and snowboard events through out the Midwest. This year we made a significant investment in to a top level wireless timing system, due to many years of less then ideal ski hill provided timing systems. After all of struggles and race delays, and talking to the manufacturer it was determined we had a faulty finish relay system which lead to our timing issues at lacrosse and Giants ridge.

I come to you with the hope of raising some funds to give to Mike and Robin at the conclusion of the Midwest Regional Championships this Sunday February 16th. They are not aware of this and we are hoping to keep it a surprise. If you are unable to donate that is just fine, give Robin a big hug and thank you this weekend, find Mike and thank him(he loves all forms of chocolate as well). You can also find me on the ski hill throughout the weekend as well.

All funds received will be 100% given to Mike and Robin to help celebrate the end of the ski season.
