Supporting Mary Kemp rebuild after the LA fires
Donation protected
Our aunt, Mary Kemp, lost her home and every single one of her belongings when the recent Eaton Fire in Los Angeles burned everything to the ground. Forced to evacuate from her Altadena home with only her cat and the clothes on her back, Mary is now facing the unimaginable challenge of rebuilding her life from the ground up.
Born and raised in Maryland as one of ten children, Mary moved to California to pursue her career. She built her life there, surrounded by the beauty and opportunities she cherished, making Southern California her home for decades.
Throughout her life, Mary has been a constant source of kindness and support for her family, friends, and community. Now, we have the opportunity to return that same support to her.
This GoFundMe has been started by her nieces and nephews to help Mary find a new home and start over after losing everything. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in helping her navigate this transition.
Thank you for your generosity and for showing up for someone who has always shown up for us.
