This June, my mate and I are taking on the Rotary Across Wales Walk. A demanding 46-mile challenge that follows the historic route from Machynlleth to Montgomery, crossing some of the most remote and beautiful terrain in Mid Wales.
We’ll be tackling long distances, steep climbs, rough trails, and many hours on our feet as we make our way east across the Welsh hills.
We’re taking on this challenge to raise money for the North Wales Mountain Rescue Association, a cause close to our hearts.
The incredible volunteers of NWMRA are often the only help available when things go wrong in the mountains. They respond to emergencies in all conditions, day or night, providing lifesaving assistance to walkers, climbers, runners, and anyone who finds themselves in difficulty. Every donation helps fund essential training, specialist equipment, vehicles, and the ongoing support needed to keep these teams operational.
If you’re able to support us, we’d be hugely grateful. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps support the volunteers who give up their time to help others and will provide us with some extra motivation when the miles start to bite!
Thank you for your support.
