Thank you so much for clicking the link, For those that don’t know me, I’m Louise (Katie’s cousin) and I’m raising some funds for my Superhero cousin Katie, who recently suffered a serious fall from her horse that has completely changed her day-to-day life.

Firstly I have to add that Katie would absolutely hate it that I’ve done this for her, she’d rather fight tooth and nail alone than to ask others to help, especially financially!! I’m doing it anyway… Katie needs all her energy to focus on her rehab

Katie is known by everyone who loves her as an incredibly fun, positive person always supporting everyone around her. She’s a one of a kind, always smiling, even in the hardest moments. That strength was tested immediately after the accident, when she had to lie still for over ten days while waiting for surgery. She’s not one to sit still for long!

Despite the pain and uncertainty, she kept her humour and incredible spirit, which says everything about who she is, a beautiful human being!

Katie has now had her operation, but the road ahead is long. She is currently in a wheelchair and will be unable to walk for a few months with recovery expected to take many months beyond that. During this time, she is unable to work.

Katie runs her own piercing shop, a business she has built with care, creativity, and dedication. She has a loyal customer base who value her skill, professionalism, and warmth, but as a hands-on business owner, she simply cannot operate the shop while she recovers.

The funds raised will help Katie with:

• Basic living costs while she cannot work

• Business-related expenses she still has to cover

• Allowing her to focus on recovery without the added pressure of financial stress

Katie would never ask for help, but right now support will make a tangible difference to her recovery, independence, and peace of mind so I’ve taken it upon myself to try to do something to help support her and her wonderful business!
