Many of you know that my brother Jeff experienced an unimaginable loss when his wonderful wife, Megan, passed away from cancer this past February. During that time, a GoFundMe was created to help support Jeff as he cared for Megan and their three children throughout her treatment and after her passing. Your generosity helped carry them through those incredibly difficult months — and we are deeply grateful.

Since then, Jeff has undergone shoulder surgery and, in August, made a significant move with his children from Colorado to Wyoming in hopes of a fresh start. While he continues to push forward, life has presented new challenges.

Due to the surgery, Jeff is unable to return to work until March of next year. Up to this point, he has been receiving short-term disability benefits, but those will expire in October. This means there will be a several-month gap where Jeff will have no income.
