As the year comes to a close, many of us pause to reflect on what truly matters in the eyes of God, love, mercy, compassion, and faith lived through action. Scripture reminds us that caring for those who are suffering is not optional; it is at the heart of Christian discipleship.
James Broadnax is a man who has spent many years incarcerated, living in deep isolation and hardship. Yet even in these conditions, he continues to hold onto faith, hope, and spiritual strength. Our work exists to ensure that James is not forgotten — that he remains supported, encouraged, and connected to the body of Christ beyond prison walls.
This ministry-driven support requires ongoing resources. At present, we have no remaining funds, and every part of this work, communication, basic support, and outreach, depends entirely on the generosity of others.
All coordination, care, and advocacy for James is carried independently and prayerfully, sustained only by voluntary support from those who feel called to help.
Ongoing needs include:
• communication and correspondence so James can remain spiritually and emotionally connected
• basic commissary items that preserve dignity and well-being
• Christian materials, writing supplies, and personal necessities
• postage, printing, and outreach costs
• maintaining digital platforms that allow the wider community to stay informed
• preparation for future ministry and awareness efforts
How your giving helps:
• allows James to hear familiar voices and receive encouragement
• supports his daily needs with dignity and care
• provides materials that nurture faith, reflection, and personal growth
• sustains the work of outreach, coordination, and ministry
• strengthens future efforts planned for the coming year
These are not abstract expenses. They are acts of mercy made tangible — meeting real needs and offering real comfort.
As we step into a new year, we are committed to continuing this work with prayer and perseverance. But we cannot do it alone. If you feel led to give, your support will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give financially, sharing this appeal and lifting James up in prayer is equally powerful.
“Remember those in prison as if you were together with them.”
— Hebrews 13:3
Thank you for standing with James.
Thank you for living out the Gospel through compassion.
With gratitude and faith,
Tiana
